God’s Power Not Yours: Catholic men are invited to stop carrying the weight of control and trust the One who truly reigns. The Church Fathers understood that Christ’s place at the right hand of the Father means more than glory — it means God is already in control, and that’s the best news a man can hear.

Christ’s place at the right hand of the Father means more than glory—it means He’s in control. He intercedes for us. He reigns.

You don’t have to carry everything. You don’t have to fix everyone.

You are not God—and that’s good news.

The Fathers urge us to trust the One who truly rules. Especially when things feel out of hand.

Suggestions for the Day

  • Ask yourself: what am I trying to control right now?
  • Pray for the grace to hand it over.
  • Rest in the truth: Christ is already where you’re trying to go.
